Visiting and experiencing The White Mountain School's community and campus is an important part of the application process. It is a chance to attend Morning Meeting, tour the facilities, talk with a student tour guide, observe a class, and ask questions. Immediately following the campus visit, a member of the admissions team will interview the prospective student and then meet with his or her parent(s) or guardian(s). Meet our Tour Guides

A highlight of a campus visit is the time spent with our tour guides. Students volunteer their free time to share their passion for the School with our visitors and give a real feel for what it is like to be a student at WMS. In addition to giving tours, these students are available by e-mail before and after the visits to answer questions and share their experience. Tour Days and Typical Schedule:

We recommend that candidates visit during a regular school day. Visits are designed to give families the best opportunity to experience both our community and academic environments. However, we do understand that due to busy schedules this is not always possible. If you are unable to visit during a regular school day, please let us know what would be convenient for you. We are able to schedule afternoon and weekend visits.

Typical Visit Schedule

  • Arrive on campus (visitors meet at the Admission Office, which is the first building on the left)
  • Tour of campus with a student tour guide
  • Class visit
  • Family Q&A
  • Candidate interview

If you would like to meet with specific members of our community please let us know in advance and we will include that in your visit schedule.
