Kayla Beliveau '13, a top level alpine J3 racer, participated in several
Junior Olympic Qualifier races this January. Most recently, she placed
1st and 2nd in the super G. She needs one more qualifying race in the
next 3 weeks to make the Junior Olympic team. Kayla's coach, Troy
Watts, is thrilled with her progress this year, both on the slopes and
at WMS.
Day student, Brett Palmer '13, is
also racing very well this season. Brett trains with the Franconia Ski
Club and races for Profile. He is on his way to qualifying for the
Eastern Finals. At Cannon this past weekend, Brett won both the
morning's double-run competition and the afternoon's single-run giant
slalom.
