Visiting and experiencing White Mountain School's campus and community is an important part of the application process. It is a chance to attend Morning Meeting, tour our facilities, talk with a student tourguide, and ask questions. A campus interview is also conducted by the Admissions team.
Driving Directions: It's easy to get here and worth the trip! You'll enjoy the beauty of the Franconia Notch with spectacular views, maybe even spot a moose or two. Should you need to fly to New England, most major airlines serve the Manchester, NH airport and all major airlines serve the Boston, MA airport. From Manchester, campus is an easy 1 1/2 hours drive north on scenic I-93.
- From Manchester, NH/Boston, MA: Take I-93 North for approximately 165 miles. From I-93 take Exit 40 (just before the exit you will see a sign for WMS). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right, and immediately turn right again on to Route 18. Travel on this road for about 200 yards and turn right on West Farm Road. Go about 3/4 mile to our entrance on the left. Turn left to Hill House, where the Admissions office is located.
- From the New York/Connecticut Area: Take I-95 North into New Haven, CT, where you then transfer to I-91 North. Take I-91 North through Hartford, CT and continue north for about 200 miles to St. Johnsbury, VT. Take Exit 19 for Littleton, NH. You will now be on I-93 South. After about 20 miles, take Exit 40. At the top of the exit ramp, turn right crossing over the bridge above the interstate. Take the first right at Route 18, which is marked with a WMS sign. Travel about 200 yards and turn right on to West Farm Road. After about 1/4 mile you will see our entrance on the left. Turn left to Hill House, where the Admissions office is located.
