  • THANK YOU!
A huge, heartfelt "thank you" to the hundreds of alumnae/i, parents, grandparents and friends who accepted "The Challenge" put forward by the Trustees this fall. We have now surpassed $220,000 in pledges and gifts on our way towards the $263,000 Annual Fund goal by June 30th. Thanks so much for making our students' dreams come true with your generous support. Thank you from the faculty, staff and students on the hill in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.

  • WMS CLIMBING PROGRAM
The American Mountain Guides Association has just accredited the WMS Climbing Program until 2011. The re-accreditation of our program by the AMGA is a testament to the standard and care that has gone into our climbing program. It also puts us on the forefront of the industry and schools like Holderness and the Colorado Rocky Mountain School are now trying to follow suit. We remain the ONLY school, public or private, to be accredited by the AMGA. Thanks to all who contributed to developing the protocols, teaching progressions, and to WMS for supporting the professional development of our instructors. And major kudos to Jaime Pollitte, our terrific Director of Wilderness Skills Program at WMS!

  • FACULTY & STAFF SUPPORT
The Faculty and Staff of White Mountain are supporting the Annual Fund at record levels. Thus far in our fiscal/campaign year, which ends on June 30, 2008, 95% of the current faculty and staff have made gifts to White Mountain. This statistic is more than double last year's number of on campus supporters, and is more evidence of the positive momentum on campus these days. To join the faculty and staff in support of your alma mater, please contact Nick Zaharias in the Development Office at nick.zaharias@whitemountain.org or at 603-444-2928, x16.

  • NEW WMS BLOG - The Telemark
White Mountain students, alumnae/i, parents, friends and supporters can now stay in touch via our new online community, The Telemark. Our new blog is at http://blog.whitemountain.org Please check it out, and send your thoughts and kudos onto creator and blogmaster, Rachel Tardelli Vermeal at rachel@whitemountain.org

  • RECOMMENDING STUDENTS TO WMS
Recommending your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, the children of colleagues and/or your neighbors to The White Mountain School is one of the greatest shows of support. Over the years, alumnae/i have created family legacies at WMS, and have also put us in touch with terrific students and potential students. We also have the unique, new summer program for potential students, so that youngsters can "test drive" WMS in the summer, and get to know some of our current faculty very well. For more information, or to refer a family or student, contact Admissions Office or submit an online inquiry.

  • SHOP FOR YOUR WMS GEAR ONLINE
Our online store is open and ready for business. Show your WMS pride and spirit – hats, shirts, bags and more! Or stop by the Bookstore here on campus to pick up your WMS gear.
