Mission: It is the mission of The White Mountain School to prepare young people for rigorous college studies and for life beyond formal academics by helping them learn who they are, how they contribute to their communities, and how they can become responsible citizens of the changing planet.

Location: 250-acre campus in Bethlehem, New Hampshire

Composition: Co-educational, boarding and day, grades 9-12/PG

Students: 100-125 students; 20/80 Day/Boarding students

International Students: 14% with representation from 21 states and 10 other countries (Angola, Austria, Canada, Croatia, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, St. Lucia, and Zambia)

Curriculum: Rigorous college preparatory curriculum; AP Option course work available; Advanced electives in the humanities and sciences; Independent Study available; Senior Project study available; Learning Assistance available; English as a Second Language available

Facilities: Library - 7,000 volumes, plus an online catalog, several online databases, and inter-library loan with Dartmouth College and the University of New Hampshire; library computer lab - 10 computers; language/media lab - 14 computers; student computer lab - 10 computers; art studios - photo lab, ceramics, drawing, printmaking; Fred Steele Science Center - classrooms equipped with SMART Board interactive whiteboards; student center and store; indoor climbing wall - 3000sq.ft.; gym/fitness center; two athletic fields - Edge Field and Solar Field.

Community Service: Offering International and domestic trips. Offered the 2007 NAIS Leading Edge Award for Global Sustainability in recognition of our outstanding achievements in the Community Service Odyssey program. By involving students in Community Service Odyssey trips, White Mountain strives to have a greater global perspective. Through service work and cross-cultural exchange in urban Baltimore, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru, students return with the will to be active change agents in the world because the realities of life at host sites are no longer a list of abstract statistics or a stranger on a video; the realities are grounded in personal connections.

College Matriculation: Over 90% of our graduates go on to an accredited college or university

Team sports: Soccer and lacrosse teams compete at an inter-scholastic level (girls and boys)

Outdoor sports: Outdoor sports include rock climbing, mountain biking, road biking, Introduction to Wilderness Skills, whitewater paddling, hiking, backcountry skiing, cross-country skiing, recreational skiing and snowboarding, and Farm & Forest crew
