As a community WMS has experienced a terrific year to date. Here are some of the highlights...
- We have recently received an anonymous gift of $1.5 million towards the construction of our new Arts Center, as well as the completion of several campus projects, including a new dining hall servery.
- Construction will begin soon on the new Catherine Hougton Arts Center, which will be ready by the end of the 2013-2014 school year. The open, light-filled space designed by award winning Boston firm, Ruhl Walker Architects, will house modern facilities for our dance, music and studio arts programs. Recognizing growing interest in the arts, WMS is proud to support our students' curricular and co-curricular pursuits.
- Our Course Guide for the coming year is ready for your review. There's a lot to look forward to!
- We continue with our exciting partnership with Creative Edge Dance Studio which offers numerous and varied dance opportunities to students who wish to explore or further their interest in dance.
- We initiated a partnership this past fall with Misty Meadows Stables in Bethlehem for students who wish to continue their horse riding instruction.
- We continue to benefit from our tradition of domestic and international diversity. Our students represent 13 states and 12 countries. See more at "WMS by the Numbers"...
- As a partner with USA Climbing we offer WMS students more exposure to the sport of climbing both for the novice and the experienced climber. Here are the details...

|  | Allison KimmerleDirector of Admission Allison brings many years of boarding/day school admission experience, as well as administrative work on the college level, to her position. As the parent of two sons, both graduates of an independent school, she fully appreciates the challenge of selecting a school in which a child will thrive. A native of Rhode Island, with a BA from Trinity University (Washington, DC) and an MA from Brown University, Allison lives in Bethlehem with her husband Ken, who is involved in the NASTAR alpine race program at nearby Bretton Woods ski area.

 Robert WestAssistant Director of Admission In addition to his Admission duties, Robby coaches rock and ice climbing and is the Dorm Head in Upper Burroughs (boys). He has led some terrific Field Courses, most recently a fall photojournalism and climbing course that traveled to Smith Rock, Oregon. In the spring he hopes to join the trip to North Carolina to learn about river stewardship and paddle some classic whitewater. Robby is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he majored in Outdoor Education. Watch for Robby and his new puppy Gus, a popular campus critter |
 Victoria HallowellAssistant Director of Admission Tori graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and then taught for several years at Nature’s Classroom in Massachusetts. In addition to her work in the Admission Office Tori is a member of the Carter dorm (girls) faculty. She is a co-coach of our Farm and Forest “team” and recently helped to lead a fall Field Course to Maine to study island culture and ecology on Isle au Haut.
