Seven White Mountain students and two teachers recently returned from economics class…in Maine.

Dean of Academics and mathematics teacher, Shane MacElhiney, and Spanish teacher and snowboarding coach, Brent Detamore, took students off-campus for their week-long Field Course in New Hampshire and Maine on “lost ski resorts.” They studied the economic situations faced by each resort, spoke with museum curators, met with historians, learned about resort relationships with the local, state, and federal governments, and, of course, explored the slopes after class each day.
