About Ashlea

My primary role at WMS is the School Counselor. However, I wear many hats including: coaching mountain biking, being a dorm parent, and other responsibilities. I am an alum of WMS and graduated in 2015. I came back during my Masters program to do my internship in the Student Assistance Program. I was later hired on full time. I love being a part of a community that gave so much to me as a high school student. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy getting outside with my dog, Oakley.

Q&A

I had such an amazing experience as a student here at WMS, so when I had the opportunity to come back as a faculty member I jumped at the opportunity.
I love being a part of such a small community where everyone is seen and heard!
One of my favorite traditions here at WMS is the passing of the candle. It happens around the holidays and each senior is given a candle to pass down to a younger classmen that they are connected to and see themselves in.
