What excites you most about being at White Mountain?
I first fell in love with teaching in the wilderness as a backpacking trip-leader and rock-climbing instructor in college. I chose to move into the classroom so I could have a longer-lasting connection with my students. Here at White Mountain I finally get to do both!
What is one interesting thing not many people know about you?
I took a year off in college and through-hiked 1500 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
What is your favorite season?
Fall! Perfect weather for running or hiking, no bugs to speak of, beautiful foliage and still plenty of daylight.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
The best father I can be.
