Primary role at White Mountain: Assistant Head of School for Teaching and Learning

Why White Mountain? The opportunity to help build a transformational learning experience-- both academic and personal -- rooted in student-driven inquiry; an inspiring community that is humble and engaged; a wonderful place for our family (including my partner, two children, our dog, and our one remaining chicken) to live.

What excites you the most about teaching at White mountain?
The commitment to student-driven inquiry and designing learning experiences for students that focus on the essential skills and habits. I am excited to look at how the beautiful and inspiring place where we live might become a rich teaching tool.

When not in the classroom I can be found:
Playing with my two kids, Harvey and Wendell.

Favorite place on campus?
Running through the trails in the morning with amazing views of the sunrise and sneak peaks of the inspiring mountains or walking around the farm.

Not many people know that:
My wife and I lived for over a month in a nunnery on the Nepal-Tibet border.
