Allison is entering her second year as the Associate Head of School for Enrollment Management at The White Mountain School.
Prior to White Mountain, Allison worked at Oldfields School (Sparks, MD) where she served as the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management. During her time at Oldfields, Allison coached cross-country, indoor and outdoor track and field, and served as a dorm parent and advisor.
A native of Nova Scotia, Allison graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. and M.A. in political science. During her time as a Wildcat, Allison was a member of the women’s cross-country and track and field teams, during which she broke five school records and qualified for the 2012 Canadian Olympic Trials.
Allison is an alumna of Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA), and currently serves on the School’s Advisory Board. Allison is actively engaged in the independent school admission industry and has presented at several national conferences.
Allison lives on campus with her partner, Kim Cooper, a member of the English Department at White Mountain.

Peter is entering his 11th year working in independent schools after getting his start at Tatnall School in Wilmington, DE. He has been a classroom teacher, coach, dorm faculty, advisor, and senior administrator. Having spent the last 5 years in boarding school admissions offices, Peter loves being able to connect with prospective students and their families whether it's on the road or here on campus. He also enjoys working families through the financial aid process.
Growing up in Haddonfield, NJ, Peter attended the local public high school and played baseball and football before heading off to Gettysburg College (PA) where he continued his baseball career. Post-college he lived in the south of Spain and upon his return to Philadelphia, his athletic drive pushed him to become a runner. Since his first running race in 2009 he has completed 9 marathons and 3 Ironman triathlons (including qualifying for the Boston Marathon and Hawaii Ironman World Championship), in addition to numerous shorter distance races and events along the way.
Peter lives on campus with his wife, Maddy, who is White Mountain's Co-Director of Student Inquiry and Research in addition to coaching cross country and track.
