My primary roles at White Mountain: Co-Director of Student Inquiry and Research, Ethics teacher
Why White Mountain?White Mountain gave me the opportunity to work in a diverse environment where kids are at the center of all that I do. I love working to help students develop their curiosity and how to turn those wonderings and interests into projects. It’s a unique teaching and learning experience that I’m grateful for.
What excites you the most about teaching at WMS? In my specific role I love seeing what interests the students bring to their LASR projects. They are all so unique and I get to learn about how different minds work.
What do you value most about the White Mountain community? There is always someone up for adventuring or teaching you something new.
Favorite tradition at WMS? Community Dinner - It’s fun to sit with a different group of kids and to get dressed up and just celebrate being together.
Favorite place on campus? Edge Field - the views are amazing, and the lupines in the summer are my favorite
Favorite White Mountain teaching moment? Seeing a student who struggled with their LASR project finish it and then give a bang up presentation at the symposium
Favorite season? Fall-have you seen the trees up here?!
