Robotics Team

The White Mountain School Robotics Team has been one of the top contenders in New England and on the National scale since its founding in 2013. In its first year, WMS beat the reigning World Champions in competition. What a start! This year, the program grew substantially, and it now supports three teams of students. The WMS program travels throughout New England to competitions during the school year. Last year, in April (2015) they headed to the National VEX Robotics championship in Iowa, sponsored by the CREATE Foundation. Recently, in November (2016), the White Mountain Robotics Team earned first place in their Regional Competition in Cape Elizabeth, Maine - contending against thirty one other teams. The team is coached by WMS Director of Technology, Nathan Carlson,  who also teaches Computer Programming and Photography.
