Returning students should complete their financial aid application by January 31. New students should plan to complete their financial aid application within one week after submitting their completed enrollment application.

Once White Mountain and Clarity have received all of the requested information and applicable documentation, the school uses a standard calculation to make an assessment of the estimated dollar amount that a family is seen to have available to contribute toward the education of their children. This information is combined with White Mountain’s availability of funds and an offer is made to the family.

In the Clarity application, there will be a place for you to share any additional information that you would like to have considered.

For parents who are separated or divorced The White Mountain School requires each parent to submit an application through Clarity.

Yes, you must reapply every year for financial aid. Your award may be adjusted based on changes in your family’s financial situation.

Limited financial aid is available for non-US citizens. International families should complete the Clarity application.

For new students financial aid decisions are communicated along with admission decisions. For returning students, financial aid decisions are available when re-enrollment contracts are issued in February.
