Jarin Rice

Jarin joined The White Mountain School in 2023 and is a math teacher in the STEM department. In addition to this role, he is also a basketball coach, and dorm parent in Burroughs. Before joining the faculty at White Mountain, he spent the last 6 years teaching at similar experiential boarding schools around the country to include Wasatch Academy (UT), The Athenian School (CA), and Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CO). Jarin holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master’s from Western Governors University. When not teaching he likes to be active in hiking, snowboarding, yoga, meditation, and crossfit. Jarin has a deep commitment to learning, compassion, and building community.
