Victoria has been dancing since she was 6 years old and instantly had a love for dance and performance. From 8 years old through college, she took singing lessons with various instructors. While in high school, she was introduced to Goffstown High School’s Movement and Dance Company. With this performance group, Victoria was brought to the capitol building in Concord, NH to speak publicly about the importance of dance and the performing arts in public schools and perform a piece in a small group. While with this company, she found a new love in musical theatre, attaining her first role as Pinocchio in “Shrek The Musical”. She also worked with the Prescott Parks Arts Festival in Portsmouth, NH, performing in the shows they had hosted, three summers in a row. Following high school, Victoria went on to Dean College majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She took many dance, acting, performance, and technical theatre classes and was casted in all of the musicals held during the duration of her time at Dean. She was not only seen on stage but she also worked backstage as well, working as a carpenter and stagehand at Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth, NH. Most recently, she worked with the Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield, NH as a camp counselor for the Windsock Camp. This is Victoria’s second year dancing with Creative Edge Dance Studio and she is very excited to teach something she is so passionate about.
